These defects may include outstanding liens, encumbrances, or ownership disputes that can threaten your ownership rights. By purchasing title insurance, you ensure a thorough examination of the property's title history, mitigating the risk of unforeseen complications. This one-time premium provides peace of mind, assuring you that your investment is secure and that you won't be held responsible for issues arising from past title problems.
